This time last week I was in Houston, Texas on the eve of Stampin’ Up’s Leadership Conference. I posted a quick picture of my swaps just before I left so I thought I would show a more detailed one and explain a little about how I made them.
I made 25 of each swap, I love making them but after a while making the same thing over and over kind of loses its charm!
I have made the best part of 100 calendars over the past few months and I posted a picture back in October on some I had made for a craft sale. The one I made for swaps used Stampin’ Up’s Coaster Board, for the base, cut to 3 1/2 x 3/12 inches then covered with Gingham Garden DSP.
I wanted to feature products from the new Occasions Catalog, so I used the new Petite Petals stamp set and punch (available in a bundle 15% off!!) for the flowers which were stamped in Melon Mambo and Island Indigo ink. The calendar is mounted on a tag made with Pear Pizzazz cardstock, and shaped with the new Scalloped Tag Topper Punch.
I also used the Gold Bakers Twine at the top of the tag.
The card features products from the Sale-a-bration catalog………. which I can’t share with you just now but I can show you something made with them 🙂
Sale-a-bration is Stampin’ Up’s annual ‘Party’ where exclusive products can be earned for free with a $50 purchase. It runs from January 28th thru March 31st and I will be sharing more information a little nearer the time. My regular ladies will be getting their catalogs next week ~ if you would like one of the catalogs, just email me and I will be happy to send you one.
If you’d like any of the supplies, to shop, or to get a catalog, please feel free to contact me, and if you’re thinking of joining Stampin’ Up! and my team I’d most definitely like to hear from you
