A very dear friend of my Mum’s got married last week ~ a perfect reason to make and send a card. Stampin Up’s Mixed Bunch stamp set was one of the most popular when it was launched a couple of years ago, partly because it is very versatile but also, I think, because there is a punch that works with all 6 stamps. I have to say that I prefer a punch to ‘fussy-cutting’ any day of the week. So here is my card………
I started with Very Vanilla card stock and used the Tag Topper punch to cut out the shapes for the closure. I used the same Very Vanilla card for all my layers except for the silver fancy foil vellum banner. The Fancy Fan embossing folder made a guest appearance on the top layer of Very Vanilla. The ink for the ‘flower’ is Sahara Sand and all the edges where gently sponged with the same color. I used a tiny scrap of the Silver Foil Paper to layer under the ‘Congratulations’ and to ‘lift’ the centre of my flower. A length of 1/8 silver ribbon completed the card ready to put in the post ~ a few days late but the thought is there 🙂
All supplies are available from my on-line store.
If you’d like any of the supplies, to shop, or to get a catalog, please feel free to contact me, and if you’re thinking of joining Stampin’ Up! and my team I’d most definitely like to hear from you.
