Earlier this week I shared the first of my 2 designs for swaps at this weeks’ Stampin’ Up convention in Salt Lake City, UT and promised to share the 2nd design. Although we are still in the middle of July and the 100F Texas heat is beating down, it is not too soon, in the card-making world, to start thinking about Christmas/Holiday cards. So my second design has a very ‘Chrismassy’ feel about it.
My colors are Mossy Meadow, Pear Pizzazz and Very Vanilla with gold accents.
I stamped the flower in Mossy Meadow ink using the Flower Patch stamp set and then cut out using the Flower Fair Framelits dies (save 15% if you buy the bundle!!) I stamped the ‘leaves’ directly onto the Very Vanilla card using Pear Pizzazz for the background and Mossy Meadow for the ‘vieny’ part. Once the ink was dry I ran the stamped card thru the Big Shot with the Decorative Dots Embossing Folder.
I used the large flower from the Flower Fair Framelits and Gold Foil to cut another layer for my center embellishment. Then 3 of the tiniest die in the set to make the middles, each one has a tiny dot of Gold Glitz Dazzling Details to give them a ‘pop’ Stampin Dimensionals were used to layer all the pieces together and to adhere to the card base.
The ‘Very Merry’ comes from the ‘And Many More’ Stamp set, stamped in Mossy Meadow on Very Vanilla card then punch with the Word Window Punch, layered on to a piece of gold foil cut with the Modern Label punch, then adhered with small pieces of Stampin Dimensionals. The small bow is made from 1/8 gold ribbon and adhered with a glue dot.
So those are my 2 swaps for this year. When I get back to Texas next week I will share some of the swaps I recieved in return.
If you’d like any of the supplies, to shop, or to get a catalog, please feel free to contact me, and if you’re thinking of joining Stampin’ Up! and my team I’d most definitely like to hear from you.
