There is more to this stamp set than I thought! I chose to use it for my April Card Class and made a really unusual fold card which started with a piece of 12 x 12 card stock! The Hello Darling contains a variety of images which, at first, did not work together for me, but once I started ‘playing’ was able to produce a number of different designs.
The stamp set is about to retire but still available until May 26th
This is the card that starts with a 12 x 12 sheet of card and once folded produces a 6 x 6 card.
The main colors are Marina Mist and Sahara Sand
The card base is Crumb Cake and uses the circle image stamped in Tangerine Tango and Daffodil Delight with a Rose Red circle and a couple punched from Parchment card, all punched with 1 1 4/” circle. Some Linen Thread and Candy Dots finished it off.
This card uses a heat embossing resist technique. Using versamark and clear embossing powder I stamped the image 3 times on the card. Once the embossing powder was set I gently sponged with Blackberry Bliss and Mossy Meadow ink. Then with a tissue I gently ‘buffed’ up the images to remove the excess ink .
………….and this is one I shared last week made with Pear Pizzazz and Sahara Sand.
So this really is a very versatile set 🙂
I hope you enjoyed these cards ~ let me know your thoughts below …………
