Welcome to card #4 of my week with the ‘Celebrate Today’ stamp set When looking at all the pieces in this set it came a surprise to me to see ‘wedding’ as one of the greetings – had not really associated balloons and weddings before – so I took it as a personal challenge!

Base card 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 ~ Shimmery White card, scored @ 4 1/4
Layer 1: 5 1/2 x 41/4 Silver Fancy Foil Designer Vellum
Ink colors ~ Smoky Slate and Basic Grey
This stamp set comes with matching Framelits which cut out the balloon, the banner across the balloon and the cute little bow, both of which were cut from a scrap of Silver Foil card.
The main balloon was stamped in Smoky Slate and a second balloon cut from the silver foil card then run thru the Big Shot with the Elegant Dots Embossing folder.

I think it turned out to be a very elegant card, if you wanted to use the gold foil vellum you could use Very Vanilla for the card base, the Gold Foil card and either Sahara Sand or Crumb Cake for the ink…. and a smattering of pearls rather than rhinestones to finish it off!
