Today is the first of February – and a perfect kick-off to this new month is a Valentine card – I have already shared a few in the early part of January but have some more in my stash as we begin the countdown to the 14th!
I just love this one – it uses the Groovy Love stamp set, it is based on a card I received as a swap at a Stampin’ Up! event I went to back in November and I just added a few little bits and pieces of my own!
Base Card: 8 1/2 x 5 1/5 Melon Mambo card, scored @ 4 1/4
Layer 1 : 44 1/2 x 3 3/4 Pink Pirouette card
Layer 2: 4 1/4 x 3 1/2 Whisper White, run thru the Big Shot with the Woodgrain Embossing Folder
Ink is Basic Gray and Pink Pirouette.
‘Groovy Kind of Love’ was stamped before the embossing was done. I used the Sweetheart punch and scraps of Basic Gray, Melon Mambo and Pink Pirouette card and each was popped up on a Stampin Dimensional.
