Back in October my friend, Elly, from the UK and I designed an advent calendar using a 24 cup mini muffin pan. During December I will share one of the squares, with a brief desciption of each.
You will want to open each post, as there will be a little treat behind each one! Some days it might be some virtual ‘candy’ or sweeties as we call them in the UK, other times it might be a card, 3D project or a video!
Each of the squares start with a 2 1/4 x 2 1/4 inch base with 4 little magnets stuck to the back with glue dots. The primary colors are Real Red, Old Olive, Smoky Slate and Soft Sky. Ink Colors included those above, plus two neutrals of Tip Top Taupe and Early Expresso.
The decorative paper is from the Candy Cane Lane pack – if you look very closely you will see it has little dots and christmas trees in the pattern.
The greeting is from the Candy Cane Christmas set stamped in Old Olive and cut with the Decorative Label Punch.
The number for all the squares uses the 3/4 inch circle and the layered glitter paper the 1 inch circle.
I recommend using glue dots to stick the number on to the glimmer paper before using a stampin dimensional to attach it to the square.
