May 31st marks then end of the current Stampin’ Up! Catalog year. Some old favorites will be retiring so I thought I would pull them out one more time and share a few more projects.
Love and Affection stamp set has lots of small images which allow you to build up a design as well a 3 lovely greetings in a beautiful cursive font – which I love!
This is a sort of ‘tri-fold’ card with a decorated front panel, then the greeting peeps out on the bottom right-hand corner, I think this would work perfectly for a birthday or thank you card.
Card base: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Wild Wasabi Card ~ scored @ 2 1/8 and 4 1/4, I know that 1/8 is a bit fiddly but with the 1/8 intervals on the Simply Scored Tool it is a breeze. You simply fold the card in half along the 4 1/4 score line then fold the card back on itself along the 2 1/8 score line. This will give you a ‘Z” shape.
Layer 1: 4 x 3 Flirty Flamingo Card run thru Big Shot with Petal Burst Embossing Folder
Layer 2: 3 3/4 x 2 3/4 Wild Wasabi Card
Layer 2: 3 1/2 x 2 1/2 Whisper White, stamp the largest images first then fill in the gaps with the teeny, tiny ones.
Ink Colors are Wild Wasabi, Peekabo Peach, Flirty Flamingo and Memento Black Ink.
I used Stampin” Dimensionals to attach layer 1 and 2 together then 3 more down the left hand side of the panel to attach it to the base card.
