Today I am participating in a blog hop and you will have arrived from Jacqueline Bobeldjik-Schilder’s post. This month’s theme is Spring/Easter. I was really stuck which to choose as we are a week away from Easter and my garden is full of blooming daffodils, tulips and my peach tree is in full blossom!
I could not decide which theme to focus on so as the You’re Inspiring stamp set has daffodils and a ‘Happy Easter’ greeting I am able to cover both! I wonder if my fellow ‘hoppers’ had the same thought?
Card base: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Pear Pizzazz card ~ scored @ 4 1/4
Layer 1: 4 x 3 Daffodil Delight Card
Layer 2: 4 x 3 Whisper White Card
Ink Colors: Basic Grey Archival and Versamark
I broke out my watercolor pencils for this card ~ Daffodil Delight, Old Olive and Calypso Coral. Using the blender pen afterward to bring the color alive and to blend the pencil lines. Because the blender pens are water-based I used Archival Ink and chose Basic Grey as it gives a softer image.
For those of you that have not met me before I like to focus on one stamp set on a project – sometimes I go a little off track but mostly i am pretty good at staying on point. Today’s stamp set also has a ‘Happy Birthday’ and ‘Mothers Day’ greeting so can easily be customized to fit several occasions.
I also like my projects to have some ‘sparkle’ so if you look very carefully you might be able to see ‘Wink of Stella’ on my flowers and the ribbon is the Pear Pizzazz 3/8 Shimmer Ribbon.
Thank you for stopping by – I hope you like today’s card – please let me know in a comment ~ by using that little link just under the title.
The wonderful thing about a blog hop is that you get to see projects made by a host of talented papercrafters ~ so go ahead and hit the ‘NEXT’ button below and see what they have to share 🙂

So pretty outside and in! The angled pieces are so refreshing to see. I’m guilty of not doing that more often.
