Tic Tac Toe Challenge ~Ink . Stamp . Share Blog Hop

Today I am thrilled to be taking part  in the blog hop again, as you can see we have had a little change of identity but everything else will be the same, talented paper-crafters and wonderful ideas .

You will have either arrived from Laura Mackie’s  post or starting here ~ either way WELCOME .    This month’s theme is a Tic Tac Toe Challenge!  I have to admit I needed an explanation on this one, but once I understood I was really excited!

So this was the challenge we were given,

I chose the Circle – BIrthday – Banner line and decided to go with a bit of a vintage theme, so all my edges have been sponged with Sahara Sand  and a Stampin’ Sponge.

Card base: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Balmy Blue Card ~ scored @ 4 1/4

Layer 1: 5 1/4 x 4 Very Vanilla Card

Ink Colors: Sahara Sand and Soft Suede

The Petal Palette Stamp Set has been one of my favorites for the last year – I love the little bird along with the vintage looking roses and leaves plus it has a selection of greetings that will cover most any occasions.  While there is not a Happy Birthday stamp – there is a ‘Best Wishes’ so I figure I could write inside ‘ …….for a Happy Birthday’ 🙂

I used the Stitched Shaped Framelits to cut a Very Vanilla and Sahara Sand circle and hand-cut the banner using my Paper Snips.  I scattered a few pearls in keeping with my vintage theme and I am done.  I really like this one – I just need to choose someone to send it to 🙂

Thank you for stopping by – I hope you like today’s card – please let me know in a comment ~ by using that little box at the end of this post.

The wonderful thing about a blog hop is that you get to see projects made by a host of talented papercrafters ~ so go ahead and hit the ‘NEXT’ button below and see what they have to share 🙂

Cindy, your card is beautiful! The Petal Palette Bundle is one of my all time favorite bundles from Stampin’ Up!®️ I love how you sponged the edges and added pearls for the vintage look. What a wonderful project for this fun, Tic Tac Toe Challenge! It was my first time using this challenge as well, but so much fun! Love how your project has inspired me to get my stamps out and play! Thank you so much for sharing your lovely card! 😊
