Once again I am thrilled to be taking part in the Ink . Stamp . Share blog hop, we are a group of Stampin’ Up!®️Demonstrators from around the globe here to bring you inspiration through creativity!
You will have either arrived from Tricia’s post or starting here ~ either way WELCOME . This month’s theme is FLORAL
I have a real soft spot for featuring flowers on my cards ~ whenever a new catalog is released I am always drawn to the floral stamps so this is just the most perfect theme for me this month.
I chose to use the ‘His Grace Stamp Set‘ although this has a strong Easter theme I wanted to show how it can be used for other occasions ~ in this case for a birthday.
Card Base: 11 x 4 1/4 Thick Whisper White Card ~ scored @ 5 1/2
Layer 1: 5 1/4 x 4 Pear Pizzazz Card ~ run thru the BIG SHOT with the Tufted Embossing Folder
Layer 2: 5 x 3 3/4 Whisper White Card
Ink Color : Pear Pizzazz
I stamped the floral wreath onto the Whisper White layer then selected the Layering Oval Die that fits into the space between the two sides. This layer is then popped up on some Stampin Dimensionals onto the Pear Pizzazz layer this gives a more 3D effect and gave me a little gap to tuck the stems of the leaves and berries and attached them with a couple of Mini Glue Dots.
I used the Flourish Thinlets to create my floral pieces with scraps of Pear Pizzazz, Petal Pink and Whisper White Card, then added a few Pearls to complete them.
The bow is made from the absolutely luscious Petal Pink/Whisper White 5/8″ Variagated Ribbon and again attached with a mini glue dot. Click here to see how I tie my bows.
