Ink . Stamp . Share Blog Hop – Autumn/Fall Slimline Card

Once again I am thrilled to be taking part in the Ink . Stamp . Share blog hop, we are a group of Stampin’ Up!®️Demonstrators from around the globe here to bring you inspiration through creativity!

You will have either arrived from Susan’s post or starting here ~ either way WELCOME . This month our theme is Autumn or Halloween, I am in LOVE with the slimline card that has become very popular in the last couple of months – so I have featured that in today’s card.

Card Base: 8 1/2 x 7 1/4 Cinnamon Cider Card ~ scored @ 3 5/8

Layer 1: 8 1/2 x 3 1/4 Brushed Metallic Card, run thru the Cut & Emboss Machine with the Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder

Layer 2: 3 1/2 x 2 7/8 Very Vanilla Card layered onto 3 5/8 x 3 Cinnamon Cider Card

Ink Color : Black Stazon and Cinnamon Cider

I went thru my stash and chose goodies that had the lovely, coppery, goldy, autumn’y type colors, Cinnamon Cider seemed perfect along with the golds in the Brushed Metallic Card. I was really surprised to find the Petal Pink Organdy Striped Ribbon was a perfect compliment to Cinnamon Cider.

I chose the Country Home Stamp Set as one of the stamps has bull rushes – they always remind me of when we would go blackberry picking in the UK ~ we would pass a pond that had bull rushes out in September/October. I used Watercolor Pencils and a Blender Pen to color them. And what can be more autumnal than an antique copper Acorn Trinket threaded onto some Braided Linen Trim.
