We are coming to the end of September and the evenings are drawing in – here in North Texas we have dropped from 107F a couple weeks ago to far more manageable mid 80’s, a lot warmer than my home country of the UK though!
It is not toooooo soon to start work on those Christmas cards, so today I am sharing a Christmas/Winter themed card featuring some snowflakes and color ‘smooshing’ using my Blending Brushes
- Base Card: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Basic White Thick Card ~ scored @ 4 1/4
- Layer 1: 5 1/4 x 4 Blueberry Bushel Card
- Layer 2: 4 3/4 x 3 1/2 Basic White Card
- Ink Color: Blueberry Bushel
I started by adding Bluberry Bushel ink with a Mini Blending Brush, if you follow my blog you will know I always stamp my greeting first then fill in with the image stamps to make sure I don’t run out of space!
After attaching the stamped layer to the Blueberry Bushel one with Liquid Adhesive I added the Pool Party Grosgrain ribbon before attaching to the card base with 4 – 5 Stampin Dimensionals. A scattering of Rhinestone Jewels to add some seasonal sparkle and my card is finished…………. I told you it was quick and easy 🙂
