Today’s card is inspired by a Stampin’ Sista ~ Nicole Spinnato, I took part in a card swap in September and this is the one she sent me. I loved it instantly – it is so NOT my style, which made me love it more and the color combo of Melon Mambo and Granny Apple Green …. well I love that too! I have made a couple of changes … as you do!!!

• Base Card: 11 x 4 1/4 Melon Mambo Card ~ scored @ 4 1/4
• Layer 1: 5 1/4 x 4 Granny Apple Green Card
• Layer 2: 5 x 3 3/4 Basic White Card
• Ink Color: Tuxedo Black Memento, Melon Mambo & Granny Apple Green

The words come from the More Wishes Stamp Set which has lots of words to make a great combinations for Christmas and New Year. The ‘swishes’ come from the Cheers to the Season Stamp Set.

Although it is not clear the little light bulbs are cut from Melon Mambo and Granny Apple Green Foil sheets and the bulb caps from Gold Foil using the Merry & Bright Dies, A little knot of Parakeet Party 1/8 Metallic Woven Ribbon to ground those little light bulbs
