Winter Holiday ~ Ink & Share Scrapbook Blog Hop

Welcome to the 4th in Ink & Share Scrapbook blog hop,  I am delighted to be taking part  again.  We are  group of international Stampin UP! demonstrators sharing our ideas with you.

You will have either arrived from  Karen’s  post or starting here ~ either way WELCOME.  This month’s theme is  Winter Holiday  ~  I chose to do a SNOW DAY page which almost always turns out to be a winter holiday in North Texas as the local authorities are really not geared up to deal with really bad winter weather as we don’t get a lot of it but when we do it can be a doozy!

Once again I have chosen to use a 12 x 12 page – mainly because Stampin’ UP! has 12 x 12 card stock in all its colors which gives me a fantastic choice but also because they have the 12 x 12 Page Protectors and Albums.

I have chosen to use the Whisper White pack of 12 x 12 Cardstock for my base then 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Balmy Blue Card and Night of Navy Card for my embellishments.

Ink Colors are: Night of Navy and Balmy Blue.

I have also used the Snow is Glistening stamp set for my snow and Brushwork Alphabet to create my title.  If you look really carefully you will see a Silver Glimmer Paper layer underneath each letter.  The Snow is Glistening stamp set is only available for the month of November (or until stocks last ) so if you want this one you should order it fast.

The snowman is made up from 1 1/4 , 1 and 3/4 Circle Punches and I used my Stampin Markers to put in the features and his little buttons down the front.  I love to do punch art for embellishments, it just adds a cute little extra feature, and my final flourish is a beautiful Snowflake Trinkets.

I love your page! That little snowman is so cute. They’re not geared for snow days here in the UK either, everything grinds to a halt if we get to see the white stuff 😊
