June is a very popular month for weddings – as we are on the cusp of June I thought an anniversary card would be perfect to share and to showcase a couple of new products from the recently released Annual Catalog. (By the way – this would make a great wedding card as well – just use one of the other greetings in the set!!)
Continue readingI often say on my posts that the card I am sharing that day will work for more than one type of celebration, today I am doing just that. I created 2 of the same card then added different greetings. I let the Perennial Lavender decorative paper do most of the decorative work with the Perennial Postage Dies
Continue readingFor the last 4 – 5 years I have designed and enjoyed making my flip over desk calendar for the ladies who come to my classes. As I have done for the last few years I am going to be sharing one at the start of each month. This was designed for a stamp camp in early December 2023, we had such fun making them and my ladies have made me promise to do another for 2026 ……….. already!
Like last year, I recognize not everyone is into making 3D items so have created a card for each month, using elements from the calendar for that month. .
So today I share, May’s Buzzy Bees!
Continue readingToday’s card is just full of techniques, tone-on-tone stamping, blending brushes with masks and die cutting – all to showcase the very pretty Enduring Beauty Stamp Set with coordinating Dies and Masks. I did not add any greeting to this one – I figured it would work for lots of different occasions 🙂 Check out the video below.
Continue readingI do love the vintage technique (shabby chic) for my cards – it takes a little time but is satisfying to do and the final finish is so worth the effort. When I saw the Sale-a-bration exclusive free stamp set, Detailed Dogwood, I just knew it would be perfect for this technique, especially as it has a fine collection of eclectic images along with a beautiful dogwood spray. It also gave me a chance to use a few techniques as well.
Continue readingThe Bee Mine Valentine Stamp Set with coordinating punch is just too cute for words! I used it to create this bright and cheerful card with Valentine’s in mind but the more I looked at it the more I started to think it would make a super anniversary card as well – let me know your thoughts once you have watched the video!
Continue readingI hope you had a good Christmas, and now it is behind us we have the New Year to look forward to. Come January 4th we will have a lovely new mini catalog released with super duper products for Valentine, Easter, Mothers Day and Fathers Day, along with lots of other themes.
Today’s card gives you a preview of one of the new stamp set and punch bundles ~ you knew I would go for the punches first…… they are almost always my favorite. It will also be the start of Sale-a-bration and I will be sharing more about that a little nearer the time so watch this space 🙂
Continue readingSometimes I focus so much on the detail on my cards that my greeting can kinda get a little lost! Th Kindest Expressions Stamp set has 4 really great large greetings that can be used as a focal point. I paired it with the Petal Park Stamp set which is all images without any words – perfect combination in my book! I also used this card to show a very quick and easy technique using Vellum Card.
Continue readingOh ……. I just love this card, and it will work for birthday, good luck, thank you, congratulation, get well as well as a ‘just because’ card.
That greeting is from the Kindest Expressions Stamp Set – which has 4 great greetings in a nice big scripty font, perfect for the focal point of the card.
