I do love the vintage technique (shabby chic) for my cards – it takes a little time but is satisfying to do and the final finish is so worth the effort. When I saw the Sale-a-bration exclusive free stamp set, Detailed Dogwood, I just knew it would be perfect for this technique, especially as it has a fine collection of eclectic images along with a beautiful dogwood spray. It also gave me a chance to use a few techniques as well.

Today’s color combo came from a pack of embellishments. The Petal Pink and Pretty Peacock Foiled Gems come in a pack of 100 pieces and are perfect with the Forever Love Decorative Paper where each sheet has a gold foiled side. Along with the ribbon they are all part of the Forever Love Suite.
