Continue readingI do love the vintage technique (shabby chic) for my cards – it takes a little time but is satisfying to do and the final finish is so worth the effort. When I saw the Sale-a-bration exclusive free stamp set, Detailed Dogwood, I just knew it would be perfect for this technique, especially as it has a fine collection of eclectic images along with a beautiful dogwood spray. It also gave me a chance to use a few techniques as well.

The Petal Pink and Pretty Peacock Foiled Gems come in a pack of 100 pieces and are perfect with the Forever Love Decorative Paper where each sheet has a gold foiled side. Along with the ribbon they are all part of the Forever Love Suite.

Continue readingI hope you had a good Christmas, and now it is behind us we have the New Year to look forward to. Come January 4th we will have a lovely new mini catalog released with super duper products for Valentine, Easter, Mothers Day and Fathers Day, along with lots of other themes.

Continue readingSometimes I focus so much on the detail on my cards that my greeting can kinda get a little lost! Th Kindest Expressions Stamp set has 4 really great large greetings that can be used as a focal point. I paired it with the Petal Park Stamp set which is all images without any words – perfect combination in my book! I also used this card to show a very quick and easy technique using Vellum Card.
