Welcome to my Corner of the World
Dark blue and yellow is a particular favorite color combo of mine, so today I have paired Night of Navy with Lemon Lolly for today’s cute any occasion card.

Continue readingSometimes we look at a product and get a fixed idea of how to use it, then something comes up that makes you look at it in a different light. Enamel Effects is one of those product, I used it for pearls in a card last year (see below for the link) and as a sort of shimmery, highlight paint in another card (again link below) Both of these are delicate embellishing techniques but today the technique uses Enamel Effects in a BIG way!!!
Continue readingIf you follow me you probably know I love to use ribbon and twine wherever possible, often time it is ribbon that will help me decide my color combo. I share a lot of my creations here but from time to time I like to use some of the material that Stampin’ UP! shares with its demonstrators. I have added links to my Mastering Ribbon videos which share the various techniques that you can use your ribbons for!!
Continue readingScraps and patchwork go together – after all that is how patchwork came into being was to use up odd scraps of fabric or clothes/household linens that were no longer serviceable. So today I am using scraps of decorative paper to create a patchwork card perfect for sending to a dear friend for just about any occasion.
Continue readingToday’s card features one of the new in-colors – Petunia Pop. I used the Stack, Cut & Shuffle technique earlier this year and I thought it would make a great way to showcase the new color card with coordinating decorative papers, along with a little heat embossing 🙂

Welcome to the Funky Folds Hop ~ a community for like minded paper crafters who love to make cards with funky folds and to share our ideas. Funky actually means “modern and stylish in an unconventional or striking way” so hang onto your hats and see what the talented artisans have to offer 🙂
We don’t have a specific theme ” anything goes” it is all about the fold!!
Continue readingAnother great card from a recent get together with some other Stampin’ UP! demo’s. I love this one as I am pretty rubbish at making cards for the fellas in our lives – the Adventurous Sky Stamp Set with coordinating Adventurous Sky Dies are perfect for creating masculine cards, alternatively it would make a great card for anyone who loves planes or flying regardless of if they are a ‘him’ or a ‘her’ 🙂
Continue readingI think this is the first time I have shared Peach Pie, one of the new 2024 – 2026 In-Colors. It is such a bright and cheerful color and is perfect for my card today. I have paired the Sketched Butterflies Stamp Set with the Dotted Circles Embossing Folder and some circle punches. The video shows how quick and easy this card is and also shares a little technique on creating layers.
Continue readingFor the last 4 – 5 years I have designed and enjoyed making my flip over desk calendar for the ladies who come to my classes. As I have done for the last few years I am going to be sharing one at the start of each month. This was designed for a stamp camp in early December 2023, we had such fun making them and my ladies have made me promise to do another for 2026 ……….. already!
Like last year, I recognize not everyone is into making 3D items so have created a card for each month, using elements from the calendar for that month. .
So today I share, July 4th Celebration!
