I have been making these tiny art pieces for a little over a year but this is the first time I have shared one on my blog. I just love making artist trading cards, they are quick and uses up odds and ends that you might have on your work bench. Continue readingHere we are in Easter week……….. already!!! The trees are starting to show their leaves here in the East Midlands of the UK, spring is definitely in the air! I decided to make a square card ~ cannot remember the last time I made one of this size and shape. I enjoyed making it so much I ended up making 7 in all, different bright, springtime colors and with a double heat embossing technique to make my embellishments really pop!

As I have done for the last few years I am going to be sharing one at the start of each month. Like last year, I recognize not everyone is into making 3D items so have created a card for each month, using elements from the calendar for that month. .
So happy that Easter is a little later this year than last allowing me to use some blossoms and spring time colors……….today I share, Easter Blossoms!
Continue readingThis is the second time I have joined in this challenge and the theme is Spring! I just love it when the trees start to pop their leaves and just before that their blossom. Today’s card was inspired by some decorative paper I found in a card crafting magazine I found in a drawer, it is full of blossom, the epitome of spring!!
I designed this card as a request from one of my dear ladies, I love the bright and cheerful colors that work so perfectly with the Cheerful Daisies Stamp Set and the Scalloped Contours Dies.
