2024 Flip Over Desk Calendar ~ February

Welcome to my Corner of the World

For the last 4 – 5 years I have designed and enjoyed making my flip over desk calendar for the ladies who come to my classes.  As I have done for the last few years I am going to be sharing one at the start of each month. This was designed for a stamp camp in early December 2023, we had such fun making them and my ladies have made me promise to do another for 2026 ……….. already!

Like last year, I recognize not everyone is into making 3D items so have created a card for each month, using elements from the calendar for that month. .

So today I share, Valentine Hearts – just in time for creating those Valentine projects!

You may recall I can be a bit of a hoarder when it comes to pretty paper, it is a habit I vowed to break several years ago and so far I think I am doing quite well. And why not use the paper – it does a lot of the work when designing!

Last week the 2024 Jan to April Mini Catalog was launched – Over the coming weeks I will be sharing some of the new products with you. One of the first things I look for in a new catalog is Embossing Folders – they are wonderful to use, stepping up a piece of plain card and making it extraordinary – in fact when I introduce them to new card crafters they get the biggest WOW! So I introduce the Layered Florals 3D Embossing Folder!!

Farewell 2023

Welcome to my Corner of the World

I know I have said this on many occasions ……………. but where did the time go? It does not seem 365 days since last New Years Eve!! It has been an interesting year, Brian and I were able to take a long delayed (thanks Covid) to Australia and cruised back across the South Pacific to Hawaii, 2 things crossed off of our bucket list as well as a wonderful visit to the UK. 

We have plans for the New Year which we are really looking forward to. But in the meantime…………. here is an interesting, quick and easy ink technique card with video 🙂
