Continue readingI am not entirely sure where January went – I just know it is now the 2nd of February and yesterday I became the great aunt for another baby girl in the family!!!
For the last 4 – 5 years I have designed and enjoyed making my flip over desk calendar for the ladies who came to my classes. As I have done for the last few years I am going to be sharing one at the start of each month. Like last year, I recognize not everyone is into making 3D items so have created a card for each month, using elements from the calendar for that month. .

Continue readingWhen the Sentimental Christmas Decorative Paper Pack was released in September I ordered it – of course I did I always order the pretty papers! It has lots of pretty Christmas themed papers (as you would expect) but there was one that struck me would work for a birthday card or inspirational card which is todays featured card, of course you could always put a Christmas greeting on it as well 🙂
Continue readingHeat embossing is a favorite technique of mine and the Artful Amaryllis Stamp set has stamps that really worked well allowing me to add a heat embossed outline to my flower. I used it to create today’s offset gatefold card with and inspirational message.

During that time our sons (who both live in the UK) have met, married and produced 4 grand-daughters between them. Todays card is to celebrate the birthday of one of those grand-daughters who turns 12 this month.

Continue readingI’m kinda in love with today’s card, it has a cute closure with a pretty lacy edging that is simple to do but has a lot of impact, I also was able to showcase some delicate decorative paper.
