Mixed Technique Card with Neutral Layers & Florals

I used a number of different simple techniques on todays card, some stamping, some stenciling and some punch art. I kinda wanted to work with neutral shades rather than bringing in colour. Although I have used a ‘thinking of you’ sort of greeting I think this design / layout would work for any occasion if you change up the greeting and you could bring in other colours as well. 🙂

Super Sophisticated White on White Card Idea with a little splash of colour!!

Today’s card would work for just about any occasion, birthday, thank you, get well, thinking of you, retirement, wedding, congratulations ……. yes and even for a sympathy card, simply change out the greeting and it is the perfect solution for all those occasions.

I worked on a 5 x 5 base card, but the design would easily adapt for using 1/2 sheet of A4 or Letter size card.

Starting to feel a little better with the allergies, it might be something to do with the fact I am currently in Pennsylvania ~ 1400 miles away from the Mountain Cedar and the tree in our back garden that I am allergic to!!! What to do with Artist Trading Cards

Earlier this year I tripped across the concept of Artist Trading Cards, these are small pieces of art that measures 3 1/2 x 2 1/2 and can be made from various materials, paper, card, ribbon, embellishments exactly the products that Stampin’ UP! offer. They are meant to be swapped, however it struck me that they would make perfect center pieces for a card and that is what I share today – oh and there is a short video on how the trading card came together!
