Christmas Cracker – Lindor Treat Box

I have one more Christmas themed treat box to share before the BIG Day.  As many of you may know I am an ex-pat Brit living in North Texas for a little over 16 years.

One of the Christmas traditions in the UK is to have Christmas Crackers on the table.  In our family we used to pull them after we had eaten the main course and before we tucked into the dessert of Christmas Pudding and Mince Pies with either brandy butter or whipped cream.

Season of Cheer Ferrero Treat Box ~ Video Tutorial

I have said on many occasions that I love to make 3D items and what can be better than a 3D with chocolate!  I chose to make them in classic Black and White then used the Year of Cheer Designer Series Paper which allowed me to bring in some gold and silver.

This would be perfect for your Christmas tablescape but change up the colors and you can have a treat holder for birthdays, wedding, showers, baby – just about any celebration you can think of. Continue reading

Hershey’s Nuggets…….. mmmmm!

I love to take candy (sweets) and make them into something a little bit special.  I have been decorating Hershey’s Nuggets for several years now – giving them as thank you’s and selling them at craft fairs in the run up to Christmas.  They are very quick and easy to do, taking just a few supplies……. and you can use them for just about any occasion you can think of.  The ones I am sharing today were for a July 4th dinner we were invited to a couple of weeks ago. Decorated Votive Candle with matching gift bag with video!

I have a small but delightful team of ladies who are part of the Stampin’ Up! family with me.  I wanted to make them a small thank you gift for Christmas using products from Stampin’ Up.

I am a little late in posting this and the video as Christmas is now 3 weeks behind us – but the idea can be used for any occasion – in fact I think they would make very nice shower favors – they can be made in the party’s color scheme.

Envelope Punch Board ~ Chocolate Thank you with Video

Candy Gift Box

I realize this is the second consecutive post featuring ‘sweeties’ as we call them  in the UK, but I think that since it is Christmas that it is OK to feature them more than once!

I made about 15 of these boxes as a little table favor when a group of girlfriends went out for dinner last week.  The good news is I made a video to share with you!
