Continue readingToday I am sharing an Ice Cream Swirl Fun Fold and Gift Tag using a Mosaic Technique to use different colors in a die cut. This is a very easy technique that works well for any die that has an outline and smaller sections within it……….. you need to watch the video …….. 🙂

The Everyday Details Stamp Set has 3 very different images and 3 great greetings, as well as my favorite ‘dotty’ stamp (you need to watch some of my videos to learn a bit more about me and ‘dotty’ stamps!!) I also broke out a couple of my Stampin’ Blends to do a little coloring.
Continue readingI recently took part in an on-line Stampin’ UP! event, several folks commented that they were not really ‘taken’ with Wild Wheat – one of the new 2023 -2025 In colors and were finding it hard to pair it with another color. Personally I really like it, it has sort of matt gold overtones and after a little thinking and experimenting I paired it with a particular favorite of mine……….. Blackberry Bliss, with Very Vanilla as my neutral ……………… I think this makes a great Autumn color combo!

Continue readingJuly 14th ~ almost half-way thru the month….. already!!!!!!!!!!! Truthfully I really don’t know where the time goes – it is oh so very hot here in North Texas at the moment, day after day of over 100 F degree days, although it is good for ripening the fruit in the garden (see below)
Today’s card has nice cool colors and is one for the fellas in our lives.

Although both of these papers have now retired the principles for making the cards remain the same.
