As I have done for the last few years I am going to be sharing one at the start of each month. Like last year, I recognize not everyone is into making 3D items so have created a card for each month, using elements from the calendar for that month. .
Here we are on the cusp of autumn, the leaves are starting to turn here in the UK. So today I share, September pumpkins and rustic leaves, with a very easy fancy fold for the card alternative.

Continue readingMaking simple cards is not something I am good at! As I explain in video I needed a sympathy card, not easy at the best of times but a masculine one is even harder. I chose to simply use stamps, ink & paper bringing in a little scoring technique and finishing off with a few pearl embellishments.

For the last 4 – 5 years I have designed and enjoyed making my flip over desk calendar for the ladies who came to my classes. As I have done for the last few years I am going to be sharing one at the start of each month. Like last year, I recognize not everyone is into making 3D items so have created a card for each month, using elements from the calendar for that month. .
So today I share, an ocean/beachy sort of theme for my calendar and card. I know that most schools in the US will be starting their fall semester in the next few days, but here in the UK the schools finished about 7 – 10 days ago so beach holidays are very much in the present here!
