Today I am continuing on my junk journal journey. I began this one when I was still living in North Texas but had to put it on the back burner while my supplies were still packed away. I am gradually starting to unpack and reorganize them and doing a little creating as I go along.

I could have used my envelope punch board but did not have a piece of plain paper large enough for the job, so I scratched my head a little and came up with today’s idea.

I wanted to make this journal with different and unusual signatures (pages) and the one I share today has 5 pockets as well as a sliding journaling patch.

She is a bright cookie but sometimes doubts her own abilities so when the exams started back in early May I made and sent her this card to let her know she was in our thoughts.

As I explain in the video Daisies speak to me of summer, those pretty little flowers on the lawn thru to Shasta and Gerbera’s – they are bright and cheerful and perfect for this challenge. I have let some decorative paper take centre stage and added a little stamping for my greeting and a big triple bow to finish it off!!
Continue readingI have been absent for a few weeks…………… we moved into our new house at the end of April and had to wait for 3 weeks………. 21 days!!! ……….. to get hooked up to the internet. Fortunatly I was able to get email thru my phone but I am not smart enough to put together a blog post without my computer, mouse and keyboard!!
Anyway now we are hooked up and I have another part of my green foliage junk journal to share with you……… Hidden Paper Clips, with some pretty bead dangles.
