The challenge is to create a card with a hidden message, I took that to mean there would not be a greeting on the outside but a hidden one on the inside somewhere! To add to the challenge I decided to make a masculine card and as it turner out it had a vintage sort of feel to it as well. Continue readingI do love the vintage technique (shabby chic) for my cards – it takes a little time but is satisfying to do and the final finish is so worth the effort. When I saw the Sale-a-bration exclusive free stamp set, Detailed Dogwood, I just knew it would be perfect for this technique, especially as it has a fine collection of eclectic images along with a beautiful dogwood spray. It also gave me a chance to use a few techniques as well.
