Embossing ~ Ink & Share Scrapbook Blog Hop

Welcome to the 5th  Ink & Share Scrapbook blog hop,  I am delighted to be taking part  again.  We are  group of international Stampin UP! demonstrators sharing our ideas and creativity with you.

You will have either arrived from  Shirley Mercer’s post or starting here ~ either way WELCOME.  This month’s theme is  Embossing   ~  there are different types of embossing, dry embossing which uses Embossing Folders along with the Big Shot, Powder Embossing which uses embossing powders and a Heat Gun and Embossing Paste – so I had quite a decision to make on which to choose.

Once again I have chosen to use a 12 x 12 page – mainly because Stampin’ UP! has 12 x 12 card stock in all its colors which gives me a fantastic choice but also because they have the 12 x 12 Page Protectors and Albums.

Candy Gift Card Holder ~ video tutorial

Today is the Winter Soltice, the shortest day of the year –  as I write this I am listening to BBC Radio 2 (you can take the girl out of the UK but not the UK out of the girl!) playing The Christmas Song by Stevie Wonder and feeling really festive and to be honest, a little nostalgic as well.

I am sharing a gift card holder today with a little surprise, this was designed for me by my friend, Elly, when she was visiting in October – we had such a wonderful 3 weeks together.

Introducing ~ NEW Cling Stamps

This is an exciting change for Stampin’ Up! and you are going to love the new functionality of the stamps.

Cling stamps have  the same quality rubber stamps you’ve always loved and they now come with highly adhesive image labels. The benefit is that they will cling like crazy to clear blocks so you don’t have to worry about your stamp image shifting or falling off of the block. Cling stamps make stamping easy.

Christmas is just 14 days away and maybe you are looking for some gift wrapping ideas or maybe a little favor for your holiday table.

This little bag measures just 3 x 3 1/2 x 1 1/2 and it can hold  a bunch of goodies…….. 8 tealights or lots and lots of Hershey’s Nuggets or Kisses, or a couple of bottle of nail polish or a couple of small bottles of hand-sanitizer or possibly a lovely piece of jewelry!

I made one for each of the ladies who came to my November Monthly card class as a thank you for their support and shopping for their Stampin’ UP! supplies with me over the last year.
