Girl Scout Cookie Card

Those of you who have been following my blog regularly will know I love punch art.  The Girl Scout cookie season has just come to an end and it reminded me of  a project I did for last years’ cookie season.  I was asked by a local troupe of Girl Scouts if I would help them work toward getting their ‘Arts and Crafts’ patch and their leader thought it would be a great idea for them to make thank-you cards featuring a cookie…. this is what I came up with….. Sale -a-bration. ~ You’re Lovely stamp set

A card made for an acquaintance who was recently diagnosed.

imageThe base card is Stampin’ Up’s Blushing Bride card, dry embossed with the Decorative Dots embossing folder then topped with a Tea Time paper doily.

The ‘You’re Lovely stamp set was used for the center embellishment layered on to Sahara Sand card both of which were cut with the Deco Labels Framelits.  Basic Gray ink was used then Blushing Bride and Pear Pizzazz ink and a blender pen used to water color the flowers.

This was adhered using stampin dimensionals with a twist of 1\4 stitched Blushing Bride grosgrain ribbon and a gentle sprinkling of pearls to finish off. Hopefully it conveys encouragement for her upcoming treatment.

My Project 4-001Happy Stamping 🙂

If you’d like any of the supplies, to shop, or to get a catalog, please feel free to contact me, and if you’re thinking of joining Stampin’ Up! and my team I’d most definitely like to hear from you.
