A new annual catalog is on the horizon and that means some new colors and products to play with. But is also means we will be bidding farewell to the five 2022 – 2024 In-colors. Continue readingEach month I take part in a Scrapbook hop, I recognize not everyone is into scrapbooking so I try to take some elements from my layout to create a card to show how Stampin’ UP! products can be used for both card making and scrapbook pages.
December’s hop had a Hidden Message theme (check it out here) I chose to have my hidden message on a New Year layout so today’s card is full of celebration with lots of bling to make my heart happy. I think this would make an wonderful congratulations card, for graduation, anniversary, engagement – just change out the greeting !!

As I share in the video there are 4 different pre-printed designs as well as some plain sheets. I have created a card for each design and since there are 5 different designs I have paired each one with the 2022 -2024 In-Colors – today features Tahitian Tide.
Continue readingWhen I received the July – December 2022 Mini Catalog, I was so excited to see the new Embossing Additions Tool Kit. I love to do heat embossing and have shared lots of projects in the past, so this lovely kit was on my list immediately!
To introduce the new kit I chose to share the Heat Resist Embossing Technique with the Pretty Medallion Stamp and paired with the Deckle Rectangle Dies. Check out the video below.

Continue readingThis time last year we were on the threshold of a vicious winter storm in which North Texas was below freezing for 139 hours, today it is a little on the chilly side but the sun is shining and we have brilliant blue skies!
Today I am sharing the 3rd in a series of 4 seasonal samplers that I have created for my lovely ladies who come to my classes – although it has a winter theme, I resisted the temptation to add any Christmas-specific elements. As always with samplers there is quite a few materials and tools used but the result is so worth it 🙂
