I love the Rose Wonder Stamp Set from Stampin’ Up! It has a big, bold rose image which just fills the front of a card and then a whole host of greetings which pretty much would suit any occasion….. thanks, wedding wishes, thoughts and prayers, birthday and sympathy. Continue reading
We are about 5 days away from say a fond farewell to the 2016 ~ 2017 catalog. One of the set that is retiring is Love and Affection (which is still available as I write this 🙂 )
This is such a pretty set that I have used on a number of projects, with its little flower and leaf elements, you can build up a design and 3 lovely greetings in a lovely cursive font. I have one more card to share which features heat embossing with the copper embossing powder. Continue reading
Here we are on Day 8 of the Advent calendar that my friend, Elly, from the UK and I designed during her visit in October using a 24 cup mini muffin pan. Throughout December I will share one each day with a brief description of each.
You will want to open each post, as there will be a little treat behind each one! Some days it might be some virtual ‘candy’ or sweeties as we call them in the UK, other times it might be a card, 3D project or a video!

One of the ladies in my Stampin’ UP! team promoted to Bronze Elite during June, this is a wonderful achievement for her and carries benefits which includes 25% discount on everything she buys from Stampin’ Up!
I could not let this go by without a card for her, she loves butterflies and Daffodil Delight – and that is what she got on her card.
When I was at the Stampin’ Up convention in July I signed up to join in with an ‘organized swap’
It was for a 3D treat holder and the requirements were that it should hold a treat and be an original design if possible. As I love to make boxes I knew that would be the base of my ‘treat’ but I also wanted to show a technique – after all I was going to be giving my treat to fellow stampers/papercrafters so I wanted it to have a bit of a WOW factor.
I am not entirely sure what the collective noun is for a lot of anniversary cards, so I am just going to call them a ‘Bunch’
I have a bunch of family/friend wedding anniversaries in the second half of each year so I tend to make 6 – 7 of them so then they are ready for signing and posting.
