For the last 4 – 5 years I have designed and enjoyed making my flip over desk calendar for the ladies who came to my classes. As I have done for the last few years I am going to be sharing one at the start of each month. Like last year, I recognize not everyone is into making 3D items so have created a card for each month, using elements from the calendar for that month. .

Continue readingTypically I would be using Stars and Stripes for my July 4th themed card, however I have shifted over to my favorite florals with the Inked and Tiled Stamp Set – partly because one of the stamps looks a bit like a firework starburst; and partly because this has become one of my favorite stamp sets from the new catalog……….. so far!
Continue readingNow we are in June my thoughts are turning to cards to celebrate July 4th ~ Independance Day here in the US. I have taken a slightly different approach for today’s card using some slightly muted Red, White and Blue and using the Elegant Border Dies to create the ‘stripes’. I think this would make a great graduation card ~ simply swap out the red and blue for the school colors!
