Continue readingOnce again I enjoyed designing and making my flip over calendar for 2023, with the help of my friend, Elly – while she was visiting from the UK in October. . As I have done for the last few years I am going to be sharing one at the start of each month. This was designed for a stamp camp in early December 2022, we had such fun making them and my ladies have made me promise to do another for 2024 and I am about to start the design process!
I am changing things a little for this year, I recognise not everyone is into making 3D items so have created a card for each month, using elements from the calendar for that month. .

Continue readingI recently took part in an on-line Stampin’ UP! event, several folks commented that they were not really ‘taken’ with Wild Wheat – one of the new 2023 -2025 In colors and were finding it hard to pair it with another color. Personally I really like it, it has sort of matt gold overtones and after a little thinking and experimenting I paired it with a particular favorite of mine……….. Blackberry Bliss, with Very Vanilla as my neutral ……………… I think this makes a great Autumn color combo!
