This is the 6th part of creating this Junk Journal. As you will see from the video I am working on creating the front cover with a super shaker panel and adding a simple but effective closure. The journal is now finished and ready for me to use, come back next week for a flip thru and how I journaled and tucked away lots of memories from our recent holiday.

Continue readingA few days ago I share a gift packaged hand cream starting with a sheet of plain Basic White card and decorating it with stamps and ink before creating the box. Continue readingShaker Cards are such a lot of fun, especially for children but I am sure an adult would enjoy one as well! It was our youngest granddaughters birthday last week so I thought a fun card would be just perfect, particularly as she will not be having a party with friends and extended family this year.
We later found out that she wanted an ‘elephant’ cake for her birthday – which her talented parents made for her – so the Birthday Bonanza DSP, with the cute animals, I used for her card turned out to be in the right theme!
Rather than just have Thanksgiving projects during November and Christmas during December I am going to mix things up a little and scatter them over the coming weeks.
Today I have a really cute Christmas themed shaker card – unusually for me I have used 3 stamp sets on this one but it gave me the effect I was looking for. Continue reading
Today’s card using the ‘Celebrate Today’ Stamp Set is a shaker card, I have not done one of these before but I thought the balloon theme lent itself to a shaker card. I trawled the internet for some inspiration to find out how to do this and came across a video which I have linked further down this post.
