What do we mean by Casing a Card? Simply Copy And Share Everything!! It doesn’t mean exactly but gives you a chance to put your own spin on something. I chose to do this to share another Colouring Technique using Masking and Blending Brushes. As I have done for the last few years I am going to be sharing one at the start of each month. Like last year, I recognize not everyone is into making 3D items so have created a card for each month, using elements from the calendar for that month and included a video to show how I went about making the card.

Continue readingOften times I have an idea for a card it could be a theme or a colour combo or a sketch. Today it was a colour combo that caught my eye and I wanted to play with it. In the video I work thru the various ideas and thoughts for pulling together a design to show the colours to their best. Although I have made this as a birthday card it would be perfect for a thank you, thinking of you, inspirational even as a sympathy card, just change out the greeting and you are good to go!

Continue readingI think this is the first time I have shared Peach Pie, one of the new 2024 – 2026 In-Colors. It is such a bright and cheerful color and is perfect for my card today. I have paired the Sketched Butterflies Stamp Set with the Dotted Circles Embossing Folder and some circle punches. The video shows how quick and easy this card is and also shares a little technique on creating layers.
