While we don’t always have the occasion to make and send a wedding card the same style and supplies can be used to make a birthday or inspirational card, my video today shares an alternate version, by simply changing out the greeting.

The car had been beautifully restored and as soon as it drove by I said Petal Pink, Basic Black and Very Vanilla!!! I came straight home and created this card 🙂

Continue readingJuly 14th ~ almost half-way thru the month….. already!!!!!!!!!!! Truthfully I really don’t know where the time goes – it is oh so very hot here in North Texas at the moment, day after day of over 100 F degree days, although it is good for ripening the fruit in the garden (see below)
Today’s card has nice cool colors and is one for the fellas in our lives.

Sometimes I can get so wrapped up in fancy colds or techniques that I can forget the pleasure of just simply using color to create texture, so I cracked out my Blending Brushes, the Layering Leaves Stamps set and a couple of ink pads!
