What to do with Artist Trading Cards

Earlier this year I tripped across the concept of Artist Trading Cards, these are small pieces of art that measures 3 1/2 x 2 1/2 and can be made from various materials, paper, card, ribbon, embellishments exactly the products that Stampin’ UP! offer. They are meant to be swapped, however it struck me that they would make perfect center pieces for a card and that is what I share today – oh and there is a short video on how the trading card came together!

Two Tone Flora Copper Congratulations Card

Welcome to my Corner of the World

One of the ladies in my Stampin’ UP! team recently promoted to Bronze Elite, it was my absolute pleasure to make and send a card to celebrate her achievement. I reached for the Copper Foil straightaway and paired it with Very Vanilla Card and the Two Tone Flora Dies. I was really thrilled with how it turned out and hope she liked it as well.

Two Tone Flora One Sheet Wonder Video Tutorial

Welcome to my Corner of the World

Today’s cards are full of techniques – one sheet wonder, two-step stampin’ masking and die cutting. They were created ‘on the hoof’ during a recent You Tube Live I did – I literally did not know how my card was going to turn out when I started but I sure was thrilled at then end by the result!
