I like to try new techniques and to revisit ones I have tried before. Watercoloring a design on a card is hugely satisfying. At first people are a little daunted by ‘coloring in’ but with the right tools it is very easy. I wanted to feature how many different types of ink Stampin Up offered and the different ways they can be used, so I put together a stamp camp where we made 12 cards (2 each of 6 designs) and then to present them in a box which would make a great gift.
I started with the Watercolor Wonder Designer Note Cards and Envelopes which has 5 different designs, the Watercolor Wonder DSP, Watercolor Wonder Designer Washi Tape. The stamp sets included Happy Watercolor, Peaceful Petals, Vivid Vases, Lovely as a Tree, Zoo Babies and My Friend.
We used ink pads, stampin markers, ink refills, blender pens and aqua painters.
Each set was competed with one of Stampin’ Up’s wood mount cases (these are so versatile!) with the Watercolor Wonder DSP inserted and wrapped around with a length of Smoky Slate Chevron Ribbon. We had a really great day stampin’ and paintin’ up a storm!
Many of the products I used in this class are from the ‘Celebrate the Everyday’ mini catalog which runs until June 1st, after which they will be retired. If you would like to get your hands on these wonderful goodies then please hit the ‘SHOP NOW’ button ( just to your right there 🙂 ) Let me know you have placed your order and I will send you the ‘recipes’ to this set of cards.
Happy Stamping 🙂
If you’d like any of the supplies, to shop, or to get a catalog, please feel free to contact me, and if you’re thinking of joining Stampin’ Up! and my team I’d most definitely like to hear from you
