Magnolia Blooms, Scalloped Note Cards with a touch of Watercoloring

Hello Paper Crafting Friends ~ welcome back to my corner of the world.

Tucked away  on page 168 of the 2019 – 2020 Annual Catalog are some of the cutest notecards – they have a dainty scalloped edge to the card as well as the envelope.  The Scalloped Notecards and Envelope pack contains 20 cards with envelopes – 5 each of 4 different colors.

I chose to use these along with the Magnolia Blooms Stamp Set and some water color pencils to make the Thank You cards for my lovely customers who shopped with me for their Stampin’ UP! supplies in July.

Vibrant Vases ‘Just for You’ with Gorgeous Grape and Soft Suede

Hello Paper Crafting Friends ~ welcome back to my corner of the world.

Vibrant Vases Stamp Set gives you the chance to build up some very pretty designs, it also has the coordinating  Vases Builder Punch, although I have not used it on this card it is a very useful punch to have.

Today’s card is a simple card with a vase of flowers front and center, it also uses a blender pen technique to color the flowers.  I have used one of the sentiments which will work for a lot of occasions, birthday, thank you, thinking of you…. because any of these are ‘just for you’ 🙂

You Light Up My Life – Fireflies in a jar

The Jar of Love Stamp set is one I have in my stash for a number of months – it just did not  get to the top of my pile of  stamps sets until the other day – as I took a close look I realized that it has such a lot of different themes and jars are very much in vogue at the moment – the other draw is it has the coordinating Everyday Jars Framelits – making everything so easy to cut out! Watercolor Wonder from Stampin’ Up

I like to try new techniques and to revisit ones I have tried before.  Watercoloring a design on a card is hugely satisfying.  At first people are a little daunted by ‘coloring in’ but with the right tools it is very easy.  I wanted to feature how many different types of ink Stampin Up offered and the different ways they can be used, so I put together a stamp camp where we made 12 cards (2 each of 6 designs) and then to present them in a box which would make a great gift.
