My dear friend has a milestone birthday this year 🙂 so a special card is needed. Mauve and Pink are her favorite colors and as she is also a fellow Brit so ‘tea’ is a perfect theme.
The card base is cut at 9″ x 5 1/2″ in Blushing Bride, then scored along the 9″ side at 3″ and 6″. The top edge was punched using the Scalloped Edge punch and the ‘legs’ of the screen was created by putting the card in the Decorative Label Punch but only half way up.
The stamp set is Tea Party and the images have been stamped in Blushing Bride and Wisteria Wonder on Very Vanilla card. The front image was cut using the Oval framelits dies. The Happy Birthday is from the Label Something stamp set (available in French & German) punched with the Artisan Label punch. The back layer used the same punch and Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper. The DSP is Wisteria Wonder from the Subtles DSP paper stack. The ribbon is the fabulous new Wisteria Wonder 1/2″ seam binding. And a final sprinkling of pearls to finish it off.
I hope you enjoyed this project….. Happy Stamping 🙂 If you’d like any of the supplies, to shop, or to get a catalog, please feel free to contact me, and if you’re thinking of joining Stampin’ Up! and my team I’d most definitely like to hear from you.
