I needed to make a ‘thank you’ card for a friend, well you have to cut a piece of 11 x 8 1/2 in 2 pieces to start the card and you already have your stamps, ink and embellishments out, so why not just make up both halves……..
Both cards are exactly the same except one says ‘thanks’ the other ‘ hello’
The stamp set is ‘Hello Darling’ (about to retire but still available until May 26th), the ink colors were Pear Pizzazz and Sahara Sand.
Base card: Whisper 11 x 4 1/4, scored @ 5 1/2
Layer: Coastal Cabana 4 1/2 x 3 1/2
Layer: Pistachio Pudding 4 1/4 x 3 1/4
2 1/2 Circle punched in Whisper White
“Thanks” and “hello” was cut from Coastal Cabana in the 2013-2015 In-color paper stack using the Hello You Thinlets Dies and a length of Silver Bakers Twine tied off in a bow.
Everything was attached to the card using snail adhesive so it is a great ‘flat’ card for mailing. A little sparkle was added to the stamped sequins with 2 way glue pen and Dazzling Diamonds glitter.
