Welcome to our family

We welcomed a new member to our family in May, our 4th Grand-daughter!

Here is the recipe for the card I made to congratulate her parents and big sister.

Card Base:  8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Whisper White ~ scored @ 4 1/4

Layer 1: 4 x 5 from resist paper available as a Sale-a-bration item back in the early part of 2015.

Ink Colors: Pink Pirouette and Blushing Bride

The ‘flower’ was stamped on Whisper White card using the ‘Crazy about You’ stamp set, the largest at the back in Blushing Bride the the 2 top ones in Pink Pirouette.  The large flower was cut out with the Flower Medallion punch and the smaller ones lovingly ‘fussy cut’ by a doting Gramma!  These were then layered together with Stampin Dimensionals.

Crazy about You is a great stamp set to have, it has 3 lovely bold images and then masses of ‘words’ that you can use singly or to make up some phrases.

The ‘dotty’ background was sponged with Pink Pirouette before being trimmed with the scallop edge framelit (now sadly retired)

A length of 5/8 organza ribbon was attached to this layer then Silver Bakers Twine wound around a couple of times before attaching to the base card with Snail Adhesive.

The ‘Hello’ was cut from Whisper White card with the Hello You thinlets dies and attached with the tiniest dots of Multipurpose Liquid glue.

Once again, I hope you enjoyed the card 🙂

Here are the main supplies used:

Happy StamMy Project 4-001ping 🙂
