Celebrate Today Week ~ # 3

Today’s card using the  ‘Celebrate Today’ Stamp Set has bright primary colors which I think would work very well for a younger member of the family.

It features window sheet and is based on a card by Connie Stewart of Simply Simple Stamping.

Base card : 11 x 4 1/4 Daffodil Delight  card ~ scored at 5 1/2

Layer 1: 5 1/4 x 4 Whisper White Card

Inside layer: 4 1/4 x 3 Pacific Point

Window Sheet: 3 1/2 x 4 3/4

Ink colors ~ Real Red and White Stazon

The balloon was stamped in Real Red and once again I broke out the 2-way glue pen and then scattered with some Dazzling Diamonds glitter.(although it doesn’t show too well on this photo)

I also used White Stazon to stamp the string of banner flags and the ‘birthday’ sentiment on the window sheet, then cut and adhered a banner cut from Silver Foil paper and the die from the matching Framelit set…. saves on fussy cutting! The banner was attached to the yellow card base with a couple of glue dots then Red Glimmer Paper stars to hide the join.

To give the card some dimension I popped the balloon up on a couple of Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I was pleased with this one I hope you enjoyed this one – let me know your thoughts below …………
