I have been conspicuous by my absence over the last couple of weeks, partly this is ‘life’ stepping in but mainly it was due to me preparing for the Stampin’ Getaway I hosted last Saturday. Although I had done a lot of designing and prep work thru August and September, there was a bunch of stuff that could not be done until the last minute – that took some time!
Anyway, I want to share some of the experience with you…………..
The theme of the Getaway was ‘ Holidays’ and with a whole raft of them coming up it was easy to decide the projects.
We made a Christmas Banner, 4 Christmas Cards using the One Sheet Wonder Technique and 3 treat boxes – all with treats inside!
Designing the Christmas Cards using the One Sheet Wonder technique.
This is the finished product! Everyone made a set of cards featuring the Merry Moments DSP Stack and the Lots of Joy Stamp Set.
Here was the final stages of kuttin’ n’ kittin’ the banner kits.
…….. completed banner. Because each piece is attached to the ribbon with a clothes pin it is easy to take apart and store for future years.
Here is my team of helpers – we did a dress rehearsal a couple of days before hand just to make sure all the pieces were correct, stamps, punches, ink pads etc were all available! Sincere thanks to Jen, Joanne and Margaret for giving up your whole evening and then to help on the day!
I value my lovely stampin’ ladies so much, so I was determined to make sure they had a great time, so we had door prizes and pillow gifts throughout the day as well. I have more to share and will do so in another post.
Supplies are available 24/7 at my on-line store – just click on that pretty pink purse to the right and it will take you right there, if you would like a supply list let me know – I will happily send one to you so you can place your order!
Hope you enjoyed this little peek into the getaway, let me know what you think in a comment below 🙂
Happy Stamping 🙂
