Stampin Getaway…….. part 2

Last week I shared some of the preparation and projects for the Stampin’ Getaway I hosted on October 3rd.  We had a great location – in the Community Room of one of the Fire Station’s in McKinney – we had lots of space to spread out, little kitchen area for lunch and snacks and with the exception of the monthly testing of the fire sirens – it was very quiet!

Mark your calendars……………. our next Getaway with be in May 2016.

Here are a few more pictures to share with you of our projects and the day…………

The theme of the Getaway was ‘ Holidays’ and with a whole raft of them coming up it was easy to decide the projects.

We made a Christmas Banner, 4 Christmas Cards using the One Sheet Wonder Technique and 3 treat boxes – all with treats inside!  I shared the Banner and Christmas Cards in my earlier post so here are the treat boxes.

Frankenstein Curvy Keepsake Box ( with Hersheys’ Kisses)

Thanksgiving Treats ( with Hershey’s nuggets)

Christmas Treats (with sweet and savory cookies)

Not the best of pictures (taken with my phone) but everyone working away at their projects (see the goodie bag in the foreground?)photo (16)

We also had a little ‘product playground’ featuring Stampin’ Up!’s punch (17)

……..and a display table, which had Paper Pumpkin, Project Life and a variety of cards, 3D and home decor items with holiday themes!IMG_2859

I value my lovely stampin’ ladies so much, so I was determined to make sure they had a great time, so we had door prizes and pillow gifts throughout the day as well.

Supplies are available 24/7 at my on-line store – just click on that pretty pink purse to the right and it will take you right there, if you would like a supply list let me know – I will happily send one to you so you can place your order!

Hope you enjoyed this little peek into the getaway, let me know what you think in a comment below 🙂

Happy Stamping 🙂
