I made this card for my youngest Step-son’s birthday last month, he is all grown up with a wife and babies of his own. Cards for the guys in our lives do not come to me naturally but with this stamp set ‘ Sky is the Limit’ it certainly made it easier to make.

Base card: 11 x 4 1/4 Lost Lagoon card, scored @ 5 1/2, run thru the Big Shot with the Arrow Embossing Folder
Layer 1: 3 1/2 x 3 1/2 Sahara Sand Card
Layer 2: 3 1/4 x 3 1/4 Very Vanilla
Banner: 2 x 4 1/4 Whisper White card punch with Triple Banner Punch
Banner 2: 2 x 1″ Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper
Ink ~ Lost Lagoon, Sahara Sand and Soft Suede (for the aeroplane)
I went a little wild with the punches using the Decorative Label and Extra Large Oval for the greeting and the Banner Punch with some scraps of Soft Suede, Sahara Sand, Gold and Silver Glimmer Paper, for the little flags on the side.
See that little notch on the bottom left of the card where the linen thread is? Well that is made with the Curvy Corner Trio Punch (pg 31 of the Occasions Catalog) …… I used on another card which I made a video of back last year.
