Welcome to my Corner of the World
As I explain in my video, I made this card for my aunt in Australia, who I was able to spend Easter with in April. It was the first time we had been together since 2001.

Continue readingI do love techniques, today I am sharing the Floating Strip Technique. This is one of the techniques I shared with my monthly class at the end of March, although most the products I used have now retired 😦 – the technique will work for any papers, stamps and dies that you have in your stash!
Continue readingI like to introduce new colors to you and to pair them with colors you might already have in your stash. Today our new color is Pecan Pie, part of the refreshed Neutrals family and I have paired it with Petal Pink and a little dash of Old Olive for the leaves.
You all know that I love flowers and am always drawn to new stamp sets that feature them, especially if they have greetings as well! The Cheerful Daisies Stamp Set fits that bill perfectly and it particularly speaks to me as one of our Yorkie’s was called Daisy and we were especially close.
Continue readingOnce again I am thrilled to be taking part in the Ink . Stamp . Share blog hop, we are a group of Stampin’ Up!®️Demonstrators from around the globe here to bring you inspiration through creativity!
You will have either arrived from Karen’s post or starting here ~ either way WELCOME . This month our theme is to use products from the recently launched 2023 – 2024 Annual Catalog
Continue readingThere are different ways to use our inks, stamping images and greetings is one way, but there is also using masks (stencils) along with Blending Brushes to create a very soft image. I have gone to my favorite Go To Greetings Stamp Set for my message and chosen to use the thank you stamp however you could choose one of the other greetings to create a birthday, thinking of you or just a note ~ the card design will work for all of them.

Continue readingToday I have 2 cards to share, both made using the Fine Shimmer Paper Pack and featuring the Artisan Additions Dies with the Celebrating You Stamp Set ~ and there is a video to go along with them. 🙂
It also gives me a chance to use the new punches released as part of Stampin’ UP!’s online exclusive products 1 3/4 and 2″ circles ~ these are favorites that have been reintroduced and I have put a link below so you can order yours!
Continue reading‘Hello‘ is such a happy word, it is the start of something new – a conversation, new friend or a new discovery. My card today will work for just any occasion ~ even to send ‘ just because’! I have chosen some bright ‘tropical’ colors to compliment the Tropical Hideaway Background Stamp and added a cute flower to finish it off.

Continue readingI have a ‘go to’ layout I like to use occasionally, particularly when I have a little creative block ~ I find once I have my basic pieces cut the rest will flow from that.
Today’s card uses that layout and you will probably recognize it from previous posts. I have combined the Petal Park Stamp Set with the coordinating punch with the Celebrating You Stamp set for my greeting along with one of my favorite subtle color combinations to show the same layout for an anniversary card and one for Easter, there is also a video tutorial to follow along with 🙂
