It is a while since I last posted news on my blog. Those of you who know me or have been following me for a while know that I work for one of the biggest retail tax preparation services in the US – and Jan 1st thru April 18th this year I have been helping the nation prepare and file their 2015 tax returns!!!
While I had time to write posts I did not have time to make anything to share with you on a regular basis – but now I am back with some cards and other paper projects to share……. I hope you enjoy them – feel free to comment.
This is one of the cards we made for April’s card class, I chose lovely soft colors that later appeared to be very ‘Spring’ like and during the class I mused with some of the ladies about other seasons it might work for. So my next couple of posts feature these cards.
The card features a masking technique and was shared by Jan B – a UK SU demonstrator. I used the teeny tiny little stamps that form part of the Botanical Blooms stamp set and the greeting is from Sassy Salutations (this set is retiring on May 31st – so you need to order soon not to be disappointed.)
Card Base: 11 x 4 1/4 Thick Whisper White card ~ scored at 5 1/2
Layer 1: 5 1/4 x 4 So Saffron Card
Layer 2: 5 x 3 3/4 Whisper White (regular card weight)
Ink Colors: So Saffron, Soft Sky, Pear Pizzazz and Pink Pirouette.
The little blossoms were cut with the Itty Bitty Punch Pack, a little clear Wink of Stella on each one along with a pearl embellishment.
Summer:
I just love these colors! I think this would make a great graduation card, or maybe engagement, wedding or anniversary congrats!
All the dimensions are the same as the ‘Spring’ card but layer 1 is in Wild Wasabi card.
Ink Colors: Bermuda Bay, Melon Mambo, Blushing Bride and Wild Wasabi.
Look out for my next post when I will share Autumn and Winter!
Main Supplies used in these cards can be purchased 24/7 from my on-line store ~ just click the picture below and it will take you right there!
Give me a shout if you need any more information or want to book a class or a party!

Sweet & simple…..love them
