Can’t believe we are on Day 10 of the Advent calendar that my friend, Elly, from the UK and I designed during her visit in Octobe,r using a 24 cup mini muffin pan. Throughout December I have been sharing one each day with a brief description of each.
You will want to open each post, as there will be a little treat behind each one! Some days it might be some virtual ‘candy’ or sweeties as we call them in the UK, other times it might be a card, 3D project or a video!
Each of the squares start with a 2 1/4 x 2 1/4 inch base with 4 little magnets stuck to the back with glue dots. The primary colors are Real Red, Old Olive, Smoky Slate and Soft Sky. Ink Colors included those above, plus two neutrals of Tip Top Taupe and Early Expresso.
Today we have a cute Gingerbread Man sporting a really posh sparkly bow tie! He is popped up on a couple of Stampin’ Dimensionals to give him a little more ‘presence”
Stamped in Tip Top Taupe with the Cookie Cutter Christmas stamp set with then cut with the co-ordinating Cookie Cutter Builder Punch – the bow tie is cut from Red Glimmer Paper with the same Cookie Cutter Punch.
These are available separately or in a bundle (which will save you 10% on the price!) …. and it is versatile as we also used it for the reindeer on Day 7 of the calendar.
Today’s virtual treat:
Another of my favorites ~ for many years it was known as a Marathon Bar in the UK – not sure why it changed its name – it tasted the same either way 🙂
