Berry Burst String Art

First of all ………………. wishing you all a Happy Easter!

Today’s card uses a technique from one of my recent technique classes, it uses Whisper White Bakers Twine, bottle of ink and a telephone directory and not a stamp set in sight!

Every time you make a card with this technique it will be different as it depends on how the string is laid down on the card.  I plan to make a video tutorial on this as soon as tax season is over on April 17th………….. so watch this space!

Card base: 11 x 4 1/4 Berry Burst Card ~ scored @ 5 1/2

Layer 1: 5 1/4 x 4 Berry Burst Card run thru the Big Shot with the Ruffled Embossing Folder

Layer 2:  3 3/4 x 2 3/4 Whisper White Card

Layer 3: 3 1/2 x 2 1/2 Berry Burst Card

Layer 5: 3 1/4 x 2 1/4 Whisper White Card

Ink Color: Powder Pink

Layers 3, 4 & 5 are adhered with Multipurpose Liquid Glue, then attached to layer 1 with Stampin Dimensionals, which is turn was adhered to the card base with more Dimensionals.

My embellishments include beautiful 3/8 Classic Weave Ribbon in Whisper White – that ties the most wonderful bows and Glitter and Clear Epoxy Shapes from the 2018 Occasions Catalog.

If you want to see how I tie my bows, you might want to take a look at this video:
