Daisy Delight Cards ~ Stampin’ UP!

Yesterday I shared Stampin’ UP!’s Bonus Days ~ spend $50 in August to get a $5 coupon to redeem in September – so my thought was – what could you buy for around that amount and be able to create some pretty cards.  A little stroll thru the catalog and there it was on page 123 – ‘You Can Make It’ ~ Daisy Delight Cards .

Stampin’ UP! have put together a group of supplies, notecards with envelopes, Daisy Delight stamp set, Daisy Punch, 2 full size ink pads and a clear block ~ perfect for creating cards straight out of the box!

This is the card they show in the catalog, I just added a Stampin’ Dimensional to pop up the punched out flower.  To create the different tones for the leaves, I stamped the outline in full strength ink then for the ‘filler’ I stamped off onto a scrap of paper then onto the card to give a lighter color.

Card base: Notecard with matching envelopes

Ink Colors: Sahara Sand and Old Olive

Enthused by the idea I created a second design using the same inks and some of the other stamps in the set ~ and there are still some stamps I have not used!

This time I added a few Basic Jewels Pearls to finish off.  Once again I used the ‘stamping off’ technique coloring in my flower heads.

I have put a link to the Daisy Delight Cards Supplies Set  below and also each of the products individually in case you already have some of them – take advantage of the great Bonus Days offering today!
